Finca la Vall
A 450 m² finca at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana, crafted with local materials and traditional techniques.
The design reflects La Vall Projects hallmark of Nordic minimalism enhanced by Mediterranean warmth.
Features include oak kitchen with stone countertops, tranquil bedrooms with locally-crafted wardrobes, themed bathrooms, a vast garden, infinity pool, and solar energy integration.
We have build the finca from scratch and designed every detail ourselves. We bought a plot with almond trees in 2019 and had a dream. It has turned out exactly as we dreamt about.
The living area
You are welcomed to the finca in the impressive hall with traditional cobble stone floor.
Leading you to the combined living area which is the heart of the finca and encompasses the kitchen, dining room and living room with four double doors to the big terrasse.
The kitchen is in oak with a stone tabletop in natural stone from Mallorca. Combined with natural earth tones on the wall and Scandinavion furniture it represent the combination of Scandinavian aesthetics and nordic minimalism that the finca represents.
Upstairs there is a second living room with access to the big balcony overlooking the valley.

The bedrooms
Finca la Vall has 8 bedrooms. 4 single rooms and 4 double rooms with twin beds. All bedrooms have build-in wardrobes made in the traditional Mallorcan way by a local carpenter, quality bed and bed linen. A nice calm atmosphere where you can only find peace.
In the guest wing the rooms have terrasse doors that lead you directly to the fruit garden.
The finca has 7 bathrooms

The bathrooms
The four bathrooms in the main house are decorated with tiles from Mallorca and natural stone washes. Each bathroom has a colour theme of Finca la Vall. Two are in earth tones, one in soft pink and one a soft green.
The three bathrooms in the guest wing are made mainly in microcement with build in elements in microcement and stones washes
Taps and showers in all seven bathrooms are in brass.

Outside space
The finca is situated on a 17,000 m² plot with old almond trees and also includes a beautiful garden created in harmony with the local landscape. The vegetable garden supplies the finca with its own fresh vegetables and herbs, while the fruit trees provide lemons, limes, apricots, and oranges for the kitchen.
A big saltwater infinity pool is situated at the end of the large terasse.
At the far end of the property, a chill-out area has been established, offering a perfect spot for team gatherings or simply a quiet place to reflect.
The finca runs on solar energy provided by the solar panels placed on the ground.

The Construction Process
Building a finca from the ground up on Mallorca requires an Obra Major — a major building license. Ours took four years to obtain, though the process typically takes two to three years.
Once the license was finally approved, the construction phase went remarkably smoothly and was completed in just one year, thanks to a great team and thorough planning in advance.
The finca was ready to move into in 2024, but the journey doesn’t end there. The next stage involves obtaining the Final de Obra (final building certificate), the official license to live in the house, and securing connections for water and electricity.
It truly comes with a price — but that’s the cost of living in paradise
