After the Renovation

Located just steps from Plaça Major in the heart of Palma Old Town, this 100 m² apartment was sourced, renovated, furnished, and styled by La Vall Projects in just four months. The project reflects our turnkey approach, overseeing every stage from property acquisition and renovation to interior design and final styling.

Our objective was to transform a dated city apartment into a bright, contemporary home that combines functionality, comfort, and timeless design. By removing the wall between the kitchen and dining area, we created a more open and inviting living space, allowing natural light to flow throughout the apartment and enhancing the connection between the different living areas.

The renovation included a bespoke kitchen, a fully updated bathroom, new flooring throughout, and carefully selected finishes that bring warmth and character to the space. Every design decision was guided by a desire to create a calm and cohesive home that feels both modern and welcoming.

A particular focus of the project was the rear terrace. Often overlooked in city apartments, this outdoor area was completely reimagined with new double doors and thoughtful styling to create a private urban retreat. The result is a seamless extension of the interior, offering a peaceful space to relax and enjoy outdoor living in the centre of Palma.

The interior combines Nordic simplicity with Mediterranean warmth — a balance that has become a signature of many La Vall Projects homes. Natural materials, soft textures, and a restrained colour palette create an atmosphere that feels elegant, understated, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Designed for both family life and focused work, the apartment demonstrates how thoughtful renovation and careful planning can unlock the full potential of a property. The result is a sophisticated city home that brings together contemporary living and the unique character of Palma Old Town.
